Tõnu Kaljuste has been appointed as Artistic Director and Chief Conductor of the Estonian Philharmonic Chamber Choir as of 1 August. His first project of the tenure are concerts on 7 and 8 August in Tallinn and Viljandi with music by Veljo Tormis on the occasion of his 91st birthday.
Vox Clamantis is nominated for OPUS KLASSIK with the album Cyrillus Kreek: The Suspended Harp of Babel for ECM Records in the category choir music. On 10 October the award celebration will take place at Berlin Konzerthaus.
Les Vents Francais are nominated for OPUS KLASSIK in category Chamber Music 19th century for their album Romantique with music by George Onslow, Louis Spohr and August Klughardt. The award presentation will take place at Konzerthaus Berlin on 10 October.

Together with Amihai Grosz, principle viola of Berlin Philharmonic and one of the founding members of the Jerusalem String Quartet, the Austrian Piano Trio will

The young and aspiring conductor leads the SWR Vocal Ensemble and the Stuttgart Chamber Orchestra with a concert in Fellbach on September 12 honouring the Estonian composer Arvo Pärts. On the programme are Orient & Occident, Magnificat, Adam's Lament, Fratres and Te Deum.

Anna-Maria Helsing gives her debut with the Gävle Symphony Orchestra. The programme of the special concert for subsribers and invited guests on September 3 includes a dance suite from Hilding Rosenberg's Ballet op. 75, Mozart's Violin Concerto No 3 and Shostakovich's Ballet Suite No 1.

The outstanding Danish vocal ensemble Theatre of Voices perfoms at the Lausitzer Musiksommer in Kamenz on 19 July and at the festival RheinVokal in Maria Laach on 20 July. Together with violin, viola and cello, the ensemble
