Grete Pedersen is nominated for the Nordic Council Music Prize 2019. Since 1990, the prize has been awarded alternately each year to a living composer and to

individual artists or ensembles from Scandinavia. Many well-known Nordic musicians and composers such as Mari Boine, Bjork, Palle Mikkelborg, Kaija Saariaho and Eric Ericsson were awarded the prize.
