Australian Nicholas Milton, Music Director in Jena was at the rostrum and live wire, that enjoys taking delight in intoxications of sounds. Already in Strauss’ Don Juan Milton was a seducer with the baton, who splendidly juggled with timbres and who entrained the orchestra with his great radiation as well as the audience.
Milton is a chamber musician and has been violinist in an orchestra and a trio. This was noticeable in Liszt’s Piano Concerto No.1 by the style he perfectly linked together the solo and orchestral parts.
