The Eggner Trio was founded in 1997 by the three brothers Christoph, Georg and Florian Eggner. The Austrian musicians captured the international audience in 2003 winning the First Prize of the prestigious Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition. In 2005/06 the trio appeared in the series Rising Stars in the major European concert houses.
